RUNIVORE – Will
Whether you are a Beast or Runivore, we all spend countless hours on the road or in the mountains. When you run as long as we do, fueling your body is critical because of all the ups, downs, joys and pains.
However, there are only so many foul tasting gels or artificial supplements one can consume during these adventures before our taste buds and stomachs go on a full-scale rebellion.
This is why we decided to create our own energy bar, because foods should enhance our running experience instead of ruining it right?
Healthy, natural, delicious and full of energy (over 190Kcal in 50g bar). These are what runners demand and deserve. And we are proud to declare that RUNIVORE has made it happen.
We don’t mess around when it comes to what goes into our belly, and don’t make products that we don’t feel great about feeding our own families. For more details on and philosophy behind the bar, please click here: http://www.runivore.com/why-did-chia-seeds-go-on-a-date-at-a-bar/ .
The Eastern Coast of Taiwan is very dear to us. Situated along the ocean and blessed with some of the island’s most gorgeous mountains, Hualien and Taidong are the sites of many of our happiest running memories and challenging races. And the people there are simply awesome – friendly, supportive and fun.
Starting in 2015, RUNIVORE will work with various charities in Eastern Taiwan. We want to give back to the places that have brought us so much inspiration and joy, and to ensure that future generations will also have the opportunity to run, bike, hike, swim, climb and camp in these beautiful locations.
To commemorate the launching of RUNIVORE’s CHIA On A Date Superfood Bar, 100% of our online profits from Jan 15th – 19th will go to 花蓮縣私立原住民少年兒童之家, a home for Aboriginal children.
